Compare Results with Google Dance Tools

After every 4 weeks approx, in addition to the updates processed by Google's crawlers to index the content of a billion Web pages, Google updates the PageRank of each indexed page. It is called the Google Dance. Therefore the PageRank or the ranking of a page in the results can change.

As a webmaster you might know that the search engine Google does an update mostly once a month. Before several days updated database is available at www.google.com you can get a preview of the new data index at www2.google.com and www3.google.com. While that update period the search results vary from time to time so the update got the name Google Dance.

There are several tools on the web to compare results of all three servers to show the result pages of Google side by side or one below the other.

Google Dance Tools on shows a permanent entry field for the search terms and the buttons to select the horizontal and vertical frame structure. In Some countries there is also possibility to compare the search world wide and pages in particular country.

The results can be displayed in two different types. First in three columns to compare the positions of the results. And second in three rows to compare the number of results.
